How PoGoCoach ranks Pokémon for PvP

A Pokémon's PvP strength depends on its stats at the league CP cap, its fast move energy gain, how quickly it reaches its charged moves and how it performs across hundreds of simulated matchups. Each guide turns that data into a clear answer: where the Pokémon is strongest, which moves to use, which IVs to look for and which teammates cover its weaknesses.

Frequently asked questions

How are the PvP rankings calculated?

Rankings come from large-scale battle simulations of every relevant matchup in each league, weighing wins, bulk, energy gain and how well a Pokémon performs with different shield scenarios. PoGoCoach imports this data daily.

Which league should I use my Pokémon in?

Open a guide to see its rank in Great, Ultra and Master League. The league with the best rank is usually where the Pokémon performs best, but check its IVs and CP cap with the PvP IV Calculator.

Why is not every Pokémon listed yet?

Guides are published once the data for each Pokémon has been validated. More Pokémon are added continuously.
